Instructor Development

The Mentoring Steering Group (Division Directors & Chris Ross) have produced an Alaska Division INSTRUCTOR DEVELOPMENT PLAN and an Alaska Division INSTRUCTOR APPLICATION  FORM.

Purpose:

  • Create instructors
  • Eliminate confusion, simplify the process
  • Overcome barriers
  • Reduce timelines
  • Quality assurance

Goals:

  • Division Leadership will understand and support the process
  • Simple systems, easy to use for mentors
  • Efficient and timely tracking/admin management

If you are interested in becoming an Instructor and/or a Mentor/Coach please complete an APPLICATION FORM and submit to Sean Edwards.  Sean will review all applications, then forward to Ron Dippold who will send to the Alaska Mentoring Steering Group to be entered into a data base. Dippold will also assist in matching Candidates with Mentors and with obtaining study and resource materials.

Those now in an Instructor Program and their Mentors may find the new
ALASKA DIVISION INSTRUCTOR DEVELOPMENT PLAN form (with instructions) interesting and useful.
